Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment, performing cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound, analyzing recorded images, and preparing patients for procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and maintains diagnostic imaging equipment for testing daily
  • Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound of the heart chambers, valves, and vessels
  • Analyzes the recorded images for the physician to review
  • Prepares patients for procedure by taking patient's medical history and answering any questions about the procedure
  • Acquires and analyzes data using diagnostic medical ultrasound and related technology
  • Checks images to verify adequate information was gathered for diagnosis
  • Downloads findings and patient information accurately in Athena
Requirements:
  • Dependable team player is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ARDMS Certification required
  • Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave
