About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem/prn basis in Grafton, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide aseptic surgical techniques in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Act as a scrub assistant for surgical procedures, maintaining basic knowledge of various procedures.
  • Ensure the environmental disinfection, safety, and efficiency of the operating room.
  • Notify staff of equipment and supply problems, transport patients and equipment, and maintain specialty carts.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
