Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing non-compound prescriptions, verifying patient information, and performing sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations.
Responsibilities:- Process non-compound prescriptions and verify patient information
- Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800
- Call patients and answer phones
- Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies
- Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding
- Work within a team to triage and respond to all pharmacy needs promptly
- High School Graduate or GED
- Active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in FL
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience required
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with sterile compounding
