Key Responsibilities:

At The Spice & Tea Exchange, our team members are expected to:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.
  • Utilize our signature follow-up lines to engage with customers.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the store, including shelves, counters, and tables, while promptly notifying management of low stock.
  • Price merchandise accurately with labels, SKU's, and locations.
  • Blend and package products as needed.
  • Assist customers in locating merchandise, answering questions about products, pricing, and uses, while building rapport to encourage repeat visits.
  • Stay informed about our products through reading relevant materials and participating in training sessions.
  • Adhere to operational standards and procedures for daily store activities.
  • Help maintain the store's appearance by participating in daily tasks.
  • Exhibit reliability and flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and evenings.

No prior experience is required; we will provide training.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong customer focus with excellent service skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and following recipes.
Compensation:
$15.00 per hour.
