Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides both direct and indirect patient care services, demonstrating clinical proficiency within the defined scope of practice as per state regulations. Collaborating with the healthcare team and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN is responsible for:

  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Enhancing the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical environment.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a current and valid state nursing license.
  2. Hold a current BLS certification upon hire and maintain it throughout employment.
  3. Have a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting, preferred.
  4. Obtain IV certification within 60 days of hire (specific to state regulations).
