Position Summary and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations and provide direct patient care.
- Design and assess individualized patient care strategies.
- Oversee the activities of non-licensed nursing personnel.
- Integrate educational components into nursing practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred within two years of employment.
- Valid Texas RN license or accepted compact license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- At least one year of recent experience as a NICU RN in a Level III or IV acute care setting.
- STABLE certification must be achieved within 18 months of starting the position.
