Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cornea Ophthalmologist to join our team at Geisinger Eye Institute in Pittston, Pennsylvania. As a member of our department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat various ocular and visual disorders using advanced technologies such as OCT, Pachymetry, and IOL Master.
- Perform surgical procedures including cross-linking, LASIK, DSEK, and DMEK.
- Develop new programs, conduct research, and teach residents in a large tertiary referral center.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
- Patient Care And Procedural Skills, Professional Etiquette, Systems-Based Practice.
- Fully paid relocation with generous PTO (4 weeks) and annual CME time (3 weeks).
