About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Med Intermediate Unit team at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, combining the aspects of an Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to cardiac and respiratory patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac and respiratory distress
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in our state or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to:
    • Certified Cardiac Nurse (CCRN)
    • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
