About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Samaritan Albany General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures, providing crucial diagnostic information that directly impacts patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures independently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in medical imaging technology and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT RT(R) credential required; registry-eligible candidates must obtain credentials within six months of hire.
  • Unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required; new graduates will need a temporary license upon hire and a permanent license within six months.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
