We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Caregiver to join our team at Mn Adult & Teen Challenge. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping transform lives by providing supervision and support to clients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Thursday to Sunday, 1pm-9pm. You will be responsible for leading and supervising clients on the residential housing floor, as well as transporting them to various program functions.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise clients during all duties and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transport clients to program functions, maintaining a valid driver's license and adhering to our vehicle insurance carrier's requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A documented one-year history of freedom from chemical use problems (including tobacco, drugs, and alcohol).
  • Strong ability to relate to and mentor individuals with life-controlling problems.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead one-on-one and group situations.
  • The ability to remain focused and complete multiple tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions.
  • A clean driving record and possession of a valid Minnesota state driver's license or willingness to transfer an out-of-state license.
Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • The ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
  • The capacity to climb up and down three flights of stairs several times during a regular shift.
  • The ability to walk and remain seated for extended periods.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
