* Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
* Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
* Prepare monthly commission statements, payments, and perform the reconciliation
* Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
* Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting required
* CPA eligible preferred
* 3-5 years of staff accounting experience, insurance industry experience preferred
* Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
* Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles

Salary Range: $45,000-$60,000

Subject to knowledge and past work experience.
