About the Role
This Senior Accountant position offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and experience, contributing to the financial health of our organization and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
- Perform regular balance sheet and income statement analyses, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is received and processed efficiently.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
- Support budget and forecasting activities, preparing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to achieve overall department goals and objectives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong experience with month-end close processes and P&L statements.
- Proficient in using Yardi or equivalent accounting software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
