Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Economist Associate - Generalist (PhD) to join our team. As an Economist Associate, you will work closely with our senior economists and researchers to develop and implement economic models, conduct empirical studies, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement economic models to analyze complex business problems
- Conduct empirical studies to identify key economic issues and develop relevant analytical frameworks
- Analyze data to inform business decisions and develop recommendations for clients
- Collaborate with senior economists and researchers to develop and implement economic models and analyses
- Present results of analyses to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ph.D. in Economics with a concentration in applied microeconomics, labor economics, industrial organization, econometrics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex economic concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Passion for using data and analytics to solve complex business problems
