Meat Clerk Job Description at Shaw's

As a Meat Clerk at Shaw's, you will be responsible for maintaining the meat department display cases, replenishing stock, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove fresh, frozen, smoked, and prepackaged meats from storage coolers and freezers and display in meat department display cases.
  • Replenish full-service meat cases as needed.
  • Tray up processed cuts and/or ground meat to be wrapped, weighed, and priced by hand or using an automatic machine.
  • Scan expired product for distress and discard.
