Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • AWS Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Collaborate with our shared services team to ensure development teams have the required infrastructure, environments, and access to execute development plans.
  • Linux Image Creation and Deployment: Manage and maintain Linux image creation and deployment with associated systems, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security, including vulnerability management.
  • AWS Networking Components and Services: Configure and manage AWS virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and other AWS networking components and services.
  • Linux Operating System and Software Applications: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and software applications in both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
  • Lab Environment Management: Support the whole infrastructure (servers, databases, file shares, robot machines, orchestrator, and application installation) by setting up and managing lab environment.
  • Automation Infrastructure Provisioning: Work with the team to provision automation infrastructure, including provisioning of new AWS formation and associating them to different environments.
  • Platform Administration: Manage and maintain orchestrator platform, user access, license management, scheduling, environment, etc.
  • Automation Lifecycle Management: Assist in the automation lifecycle by managing production environments and code migrations, ensuring separation of duties.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Support infrastructure operations and strategy, monitoring health, status of deployed machines and system performance.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Support escalation requests regarding Infrastructure/Security by working with relevant teams. Support the creation and deployment of encryption baseline for workstations and assets, manage existing operation of encryption infrastructure.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure availability and integrity of data together with the corresponding teams.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AWS concepts, principles, and best practices. Expertise with Cloud Formation, Linux Server (Ubuntu, Debian), and hardware/software compatibility and build history.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in AWS, use of the Cloud Formation Platform, and infrastructure management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Postgraduate degree desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Focus on results, customer orientation, negotiation and conflict management, effective communication, strong analytical and problem-solving, teamwork, planning and organization, work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Computing Concepts: Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including serverless technologies, containerization, authentication services, and data encryption.
  • AWS Services: Experience with multiple AWS components, including Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, SES, Cloud Watch, RDS, and Aurora.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Familiarity with project management methodologies, including DNS/DHCP IP protocols, network protocols, and network administration knowledge.
