Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at CLEBURNE ISD. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and conditions.
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy plans to address communication goals.
  • Evaluate student progress and make recommendations for continued therapy services.
  • Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist in interpretation of assessment data and goal setting.
  • Counsel and involve parents in the remedial process.
  • Consult with colleagues and school personnel to improve communication skills of students.
  • Provide professional development to help school personnel identify and understand communication deficits in students.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.
  • One year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience.
Working Conditions:

This position requires regular districtwide travel to multiple work locations as assigned. Moderate lifting and carrying may be required. May be required to lift and transfer students to and from wheelchair or assist with positioning students with physical disabilities.
