Job Title: Site Supervisor - Bolivar Center

About the Role

The YMCA of the Twin Tiers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our 21st CCLC Program at the Bolivar-Richburg Central School District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the education, health, welfare, and safety of children enrolled in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the 21st CCLC Program, including compiling program statistics, securing facilities, creating activities, and maintaining records.
  • Operate the program in accordance with OCFS regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assure that YMCA program standards are met and safety procedures followed.
  • Complete performance reports, student data spreadsheets, and other required reporting.
  • Liaise with community agencies, school committees, and partnerships representing the YMCA.
  • Establish goals and objectives for the program, review classroom lesson plans, and coordinate program planning.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and appraise staff members, maintain staff schedules, and evaluate performance.
  • Facilitate communication, provide leadership, and model relationship-building skills.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, ensure parent participation, and monitor city and state activities.
  • Collaborate with school administration and classroom teachers to align the program with school district goals.
  • Demonstrate quality standards in character development and continue professional development through self-study and research.
  • Participate in branch programs, special events, and assume Leader on Duty responsibilities.
  • Take a leadership role in the Annual Campaign and serve as a Staff Team Captain.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in education or a related field.
  • Experience in program management, staff supervision, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Knowledge of OCFS regulations and YMCA program standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
