**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Sonora Quest. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for examining and evaluating gynecological and non-gynecological specimens to diagnose malignant and pre-malignant conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct microscopic examinations of specimens to identify abnormal cell growth
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
* Maintain proficiency in fine needle aspiration collection and NGYN and FNA screening
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and techniques through continuing education

**Requirements**

* Completion of a cytotechnology program from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) school
* ASCP certification or eligibility required
* Good interpersonal and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain 90% proficiency on internal proficiency tests and pass annual CAP-PT
