Occupational Therapist

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Job Summary:The Occupational Therapist will conduct assessments and reassessments of patients' rehabilitation needs and potential. You will develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs to restore physical function, sensory-integrative functions, and independence in activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and reassessments of patients' level of function
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Rehab Director and other healthcare professionals
- Guide and teach patients in the use of therapeutic activities
- Observe, record, and report patients' reactions to treatment and changes in their condition
- Participate in patient case conferences and quality assurance programs
- Graduate of a curriculum in Occupational Therapy accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas
- Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with two years of experience in home health preferred
The Occupational Therapist will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, adapting to client status and needs as directed. Schedule changes daily due to client condition and needs, new clients, etc.
