API Specialist

Industrial Inspection & Analysis is a leading provider of inspection and analysis services in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking an experienced API Technician to join our Facility Services group and growing API Inspection team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety and quality procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements. This includes performing pre-job preparations of equipment, job walkdowns, procedural reviews, and post-job equipment inspections as required by the specific work scope.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Perform pre-job preparations of equipment, job walkdowns, procedural reviews, etc. as required by the specific work scope.
• Work with a team of NDT Technicians to perform day-to-day and routine safety observations and inspections.
• Perform post-job equipment inspections, procedural reviews, etc. as required by the specific work scope for the completed work and future work scheduled/planned.
• Complete applicable job reports and other paperwork as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of mechanical concepts and spatial relationships.
• Basic knowledge of physical NDT principles, processes, and limitations.
• Experience with MT/PT/UT/PAUT/CWI preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards and recommended practices.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Effective communication of technical requirements and deliverables.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
