Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician, ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for the exam.
  • Be sensitive to patients' needs throughout the procedure, explaining the process to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Address patient concerns and provide thorough and accurate documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers following the procedure.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff, ensuring supplies and equipment are stored in an organized and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration
  • Current Rad Tech license in the state of practice (if working in Utah)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA (as required by Medical Group)
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV certification
