Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Room Host/Hostess to join our team at Matt Winn's Steakhouse at Churchill Downs. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets and directs guests to their tables, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assists with service, including bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Supervises the activities of food-service associates in the dining room, ensuring proper customer service and food handling procedures are followed.
  • Trains new food-service team members and assists with closing duties, including side work and station setup.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of emergency safety procedures and assists with evacuating guests in the event of an emergency.
