Job Summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Telemetry Nurse. This is a part-time weekend shift position that requires a high level of compassion, professionalism, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician or RN
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Current LPN license in the hiring state
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • LPN-IV Certification (if not already completed)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in telemetry nursing
  • Certifications in ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, T.A.B.L.E., or Six Assessment & Care Modules
