Process Engineer Job Description

Kinetic Engine Systems is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and implementing manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process designs to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for process optimization and implement changes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Work with customers and suppliers to ensure specifications are met and processes are optimized.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and operating instructions.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent technical skills, including GD&T experience.
  • Knowledge of process-related standards and manufacturing processes.
  • 3-5 years of CAD/CAM experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Working Conditions:

The Process Engineer will work in a normal production environment, subject to high noise levels, physical hazards, and exposure to chemicals and machinery.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to read customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and sit for long periods.
