Position Overview:Our high-performance product team is in search of a proficient System Engineer who will spearhead the development of technical documentation for our proprietary server system offerings. This role presents an exciting opportunity to define and implement cutting-edge data center and server technologies, as well as to create proof of concepts and technical presentations that showcase our products at various industry events.
Key Responsibilities:The following duties are essential to this role (additional responsibilities may be assigned):
- Design and develop application benchmarks aligned with enterprise computing needs and standard server architectures, including tools like HammerDB, MySQL, and RDMA.
- Conduct benchmark testing and establish proof of concepts utilizing the latest data center technologies and our server products.
- Collaborate with product managers and system engineers to produce technical marketing materials and white papers for online and industry-related publications.
- Engage proactively in the exploration and research of new technologies to propose innovative Proof of Concepts.
- Provide technical expertise and networking solutions to sales teams and clients.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering for server products is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of server architecture and operating system concepts; familiarity with distributed computing is advantageous.
- Experience with benchmarks (FIO/IOMeter/HammerDB), PCIe protocols, and databases (SQL/MySQL).
- Proficient in configuring Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Redhat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with scripting languages (Powershell, Linux Shell) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware and architectures, including PCI Express and out-of-band management.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
