INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Tech Reg to join our Enid Hospital Sleep Medicine team. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients with sleep disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct a variety of sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders, as directed by a physician.
- Collect and transmit biological specimens for analysis.
- Perform and record routine patient assessments.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment, including troubleshooting minor issues.
- Abide by written policies and procedures regarding patient treatment and maintain high patient satisfaction.
- Assist in scoring acquired data and preparing it for interpretation by board-certified sleep physicians.
- 2 years of college education and current BCLS certification preferred.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist, Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT SDS) certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. This position requires sedentary work with prolonged periods of sitting during data acquisition. The ability to reach, stand, walk, bend, and kneel is required for patient preparation. Carrying equipment over 10lbs is frequent, and lifting and pushing patients weighing over 300lbs may be necessary. The ability to see and communicate effectively is essential for this role.
