Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Penn Line Enterprises, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting loads to and from our yard, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive flatbed trailers to and from the yard, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Strap and unstrap loads onto the truck, ensuring secure transportation.
  • Operate a forklift to move items within the yard.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the truck, including washing and cleaning.
  • Hook and unhook the trailer from the truck, ensuring proper attachment and detachment.
  • Lift items up to 50 pounds, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documents, adhering to company policies.
Requirements
  • Active and valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a good driving record.
  • Proven work experience as a flatbed truck driver, with a preference for experience driving a lowboy.
  • Experience strapping and unstrapping loads and hooking and unhooking the trailer is required.
  • Forklift experience is required, with certification preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance and care of trucks is preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while driving the truck.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
  • Strapping and unstrapping loads onto the truck.
  • Standing, walking, crouching, crawling, and carrying occasionally.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, balancing, and climbing regularly.
  • Reaching and handling objects frequently.
Work Schedule
  • Based out of Hunker, PA, with a 40-hour workweek, plus overtime, Monday through Friday.
