Mott Community College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and a passion for teaching.

• Teach Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration courses to students
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in HVAC

• Associate's Degree or higher in HVAC, Mechanical, Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Two years of practical experience in residential/commercial ACHR
• Understanding of community college teaching and mission
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to present information to groups

• College teaching experience in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration or related field
• Master's Degree in HVAC&R, Applied Technology, Career & Technical Education or related field
• Certification in refrigerant handling or industry certifications
• Familiarity with competency-based modularized courseware and instruction

The employee must be able to move about 2/3 of the time and be stationary about 1/3 of the time. S/he is required to be mobile around campus for participant involvement/activities.
