Job Summary

The Product Manager is a key member of our team at Freedom Mortgage, responsible for driving the development and implementation of our product strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of our business goals and the ability to work closely with our leadership team to identify and recommend product features and functionality that align with our vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Roadmap
    • Determine and articulate the minimum viable product (MVP) that meets our business objectives.
    • Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with our business strategy.
  • Product Development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver product enhancements.
    • Work with our engineering team to ensure that product requirements are met and that products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and internal teams.
    • Provide regular updates on product progress and status.
  • Analysis and Decision Making
    • Analyze data and market trends to inform product decisions.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
    • Collaborate with other product managers to align product strategies and ensure a cohesive product vision.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or computer science.
    • Minimum six years of experience in product management, preferably in the mortgage banking industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of the mortgage banking industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
