Delivering Exceptional Patient Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and quality nursing care in alignment with the philosophy and objectives of the Nursing Department.
- Utilize a therapeutic professional relationship with patients/families and the interdisciplinary team to promote, maintain, and restore health.
- Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses through continuous observation of the patient's physical condition and behavior.
- Collaborate with patients to formulate a care plan ensuring safety, comfort, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Perform essential nursing skills, explain treatments, and educate patients and families on care needs.
- Evaluate care plan effectiveness and modify as necessary through observation and communication.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and safe use of equipment, instrumentation, and medications.
- Delegate tasks to care team members within their scope of practice and supervise their execution.
- Act as a patient advocate by facilitating informed health care decisions.
- Provide culturally competent, ethical care in line with legal standards of practice.
- Coordinate care activities with nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and ancillary team members.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by contributing to a positive patient care experience and resolving complaints effectively.
- Document nursing care according to hospital policies.
- Utilize manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of acute care experience required.
- RN License.
- AHA BLS, ACLS certifications.
