Nuclear Medicine Supervisor
Full-Time DAYS
The role of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor encompasses a variety of essential responsibilities:
- Support the management team in overseeing, strategizing, organizing, and enhancing operational workflows within specialized sections of Radiology services, including CT, MRI, US, IR, or Nuclear Medicine.
- Conduct departmental orientation, provide education, mentorship, and supervision to staff while performing imaging examinations in the relevant modalities.
- Uphold the organization's vision, mission, values, and objectives in all activities.
- Propose and assist in formulating policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards and health philosophies.
- Serve as a departmental representative in the absence of the manager.
Essential Qualifications:
Completion of an Accredited Program
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Experience in a hospital setting
Preferably knowledgeable in billing and charge integrity
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board is required
ARRT-NM or CNMT certification is necessary, with certification from ARRT or ARDMS
Compensation: $35-50/hour
