We are seeking an exceptional Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a key member of our Advanced Test and Support Solutions (ATSS) group, you will play a pivotal role in developing Avionics Testing Solutions and Specialized Test Equipment for the B-2 Stealth Bomber and LGM-35A Sentinel Missile platforms.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned mechanical engineer to oversee engineering design, 2D/3D drawing formats, and standards for a wide range of mechanical products. You will be responsible for:

  • Oversight and ownership of engineering design and development for mechanical products, including product details, assemblies, test benches, and top-level installations
  • Development and coordination of internal and customer design reviews for mechanical and system-level designs
  • Creation of supporting documentation, such as operating and user manuals
  • Troubleshooting lab equipment and ensuring technical data packages meet project commitments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of related experience; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and initiative
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications
  • A U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with additional experience and skills, particularly those with:

  • Active DoD SECRET or higher security clearance
  • Mastery of CAD software tools and data management systems
  • Leadership experience in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Background in aerospace or defense industries
