Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus. As a Traveling Surgical Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • Active WA state license
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
  • Experience in a hospital or surgical setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a teaching hospital or ambulatory OR setting
  • Knowledge of scrubbing and surgical procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Work Schedule

This position requires a 6-week schedule with three weeknight call shifts (11p-7a) and three weekend call shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a). Call response time is 30 minutes from being called.
