IT Infrastructure Specialist

PNC Bank NA is seeking a highly skilled System Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and compliance of our technology systems.

• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain our systems and software to ensure stability and compliance with technology standards.
• Patch and Upgrade Management: Perform maintenance tasks, including the installation of patches and upgrades to ensure our systems remain up-to-date.
• Incident Detection and Resolution: Detect, resolve, and escalate incidents in a timely manner, and participate in root cause analysis and correction to prevent future issues.
• System Performance and Capacity Management: Monitor system availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and report trends.
• Technical Knowledge and Governance: Develop in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications, and perform application governance tasks such as required attestations, continuity testing, and impact analysis.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, application maintenance, application programming interfaces (APIs), decision making and critical thinking, IT environment, IT incident management, IT service management (ITSM), IT standards, procedures & policies, packaged application integration, software reliability management, system development life cycle, technical troubleshooting.
