Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Norman Regional Hospital. As an ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with life-threatening conditions, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and sepsis.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate life-support systems, including ventilation and heart monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in ICU or critical care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
