Estimated Salary Range$75-89 per hour
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
- Work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
- Mentor less experienced engineers on our team.
- Contribute to or author proposals and participate in business capture efforts.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to include hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting RF products and resolving integration issues.
- Experience with the use of microwave test equipment.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
We are looking for candidates with:
- An MS in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.
- Experience with RF design.
- Knowledge of RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.
- Experience with microwave simulation tools.
- Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data.
