Truck and Trailer Maintenance Specialist

Overview:
Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join its team in a full-time role with a 1st shift schedule.
About the Role:
This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing general maintenance on Freightliner Tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools and must be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Repair and maintain trucks and trailers
- Train new staff members as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Familiarity with Class 8 diagnostic tools
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
