Job Description:
This locum-to-perm opportunity is for a Cardiology Physician Assistant to work in Coos Bay, OR. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in inpatient cardiology and be licensed in OR or willing to obtain. The position involves managing cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director. The candidate may be required to lift up to 75lbs. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The schedule is 4 10-hr shifts with a rotation of 1 week inpatient and 1 week outpatient. The patient volume is 6-8 patients per day. The hospital has 127 beds and is a level III trauma center. The EMR system is Epic. The candidate should have ties to OR and be able to start ASAP. The position is clinical only and requires a BC. The candidate should have a strong understanding of cardiology and be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work well in a team environment.
