Nurse Educator

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team in Somerville, Massachusetts.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting programs for staff development, education, quality, and evidence-based practice. This includes facilitating assessment and identification of practice gaps and learning needs, as well as supporting onboarding, transitions to practice, continuing education, and academic student placement experiences within the nursing division.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
- Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to support their professional development
- Participate in strategic planning and goal development to advance the nursing division
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Clinical or professional specialty certification required; NPD-BC preferred
- 3-5 years nursing practice required, critical care experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience with facilitation of precepting, and education programs required
