Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. This role involves overseeing our Information Systems environment to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats, irregularities, and harmful activities. The analyst will be responsible for assessing incidents, providing appropriate responses, and escalating issues as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor information systems for potential security vulnerabilities
  • Conduct investigations into cybersecurity incidents
  • Implement protective measures and utilize software to safeguard systems and data
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with industry best practices for vulnerability scanning
  • Research and recommend security solutions to management
  • Stay informed about trends in information technology and security standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems with a specialization in IT Security
  • 3-5 years of experience in a security-focused role or performing security-related tasks
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • This position may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if necessary. Selected candidates may undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
