Position Overview:
The Warehouse Operative and Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in facilitating the operational activities within the warehouse. This position involves various responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process pick ticket orders efficiently.
  • Retrieve items from storage based on specified criteria such as number, size, color, quantity, and quality.
  • Ensure accuracy in the picking, shipping, and receiving of orders.
  • Organize items appropriately for delivery.
  • Monitor and manage the storage of inbound and outbound products.
  • Oversee the replenishment of stock as needed.
  • Utilize shrink wrap to secure products on pallets.
  • Operate scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Complete forklift equipment logs prior to operation and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with daily inventory counts and confirm product locations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers using powered industrial trucks.
  • Receive incoming purchase orders and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Perform additional general warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting, with responsibilities in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand instructions effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
