Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and education, within the scope of practice as a RN/LPN.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to nursing standards and ChildServe policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses and paraprofessionals, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to the advancement of our team's expertise.
Requirements:
  • Current valid license as a RN/LPN in Iowa.
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.

This is a part-time position, working 6p-6:30a, 2 shifts per week, with a weekend rotation. Opportunities for a rotating days/nights schedule are available. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care to children with complex medical needs, we encourage you to apply.
