Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing timely, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in providing patient care, including refilling medication bins, updating labeling, and delivering medications to nursing units.
  • Manage automated dispensing cabinet inventory, including accurate selection and loading of medications.
  • Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques and follow federal regulations.
  • Use personal protective equipment and closed system transfer devices as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Maryland Pharmacy Technician License required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required.
