Working ConditionsMay be subject to working nights, weekends, or holidays in support of emergency incidents.
Special Requirements- The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
TAU appointments to this classification are made under temporary authorization.
Temporary appointments are subject to the California State Constitution.
Employees who have had only a TAU appointment have no reinstatement eligibility.
Persons who do not possess the minimum qualifications for the classification are ineligible for appointment as a TAU.
Disclosure RequirementsPursuant to California Penal Code 4571, any individual interested in seeking employment who may be required to work with inmates at a conservation camp must disclose any prior felony status up front.
