The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a highly skilled and experienced radiologist to serve as Chief of the Neuroradiology Section. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of faculty members and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
Responsibilities- Provide inspirational leadership and mentorship to faculty members
- Supervise and evaluate faculty performance across all academic missions
- Lead research collaborations and contribute to the department's research agenda
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and clinical services
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Radiology with a specialty certificate in Neuroradiology
- Completion of fellowship training in Neuroradiology Imaging or clinical equivalent
- Eligibility to practice medicine in Alabama
