Wellpath is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and documenting them on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) while following safety principles, infection control techniques, and the six rights of medication administration.
Key Responsibilities- Administering prescribed medications and documenting them on the MAR
- Adhering to Facility policies, Pharmacy Board regulations, and proper infection control techniques during medication administration
- Participating in performance improvement activities related to medication administration
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and rights
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience in a medical environment preferred
- Must be certified as a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided and have current CPR Certification
