Job Summary: As a Host/Hostess at TPG Hotels Resorts and Marinas, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our patrons. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Utilize a seating chart to efficiently manage table assignments and rotations.
- Maintain a clean and organized service podium.
- Effectively respond to phone calls and manage reservations according to established procedures.
Requirements: High school education plus one or more years of related experience. Ability to provide friendly guest service, understand and comply with proper seating chart rotation, and process guest bills and payments in accordance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processes, and accounting policies and procedures.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Physical work is a primary aspect of this role, requiring extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
