About the RoleThis Acute Care Occupational Therapist position offers a unique opportunity for clinical growth and professional development. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide individualized care plans that promote optimal outcomes. With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions, including hands-on treatments, education, and training, to help patients recover from illness or injury.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Graduate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Current unrestricted license to practice occupational therapy in Massachusetts.
- Minimum one year of acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
