We are looking for a candidate with strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills, with experience in finance/accounting, real estate transactions, real estate appraisal, and legal requirements relating to public finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex legal work with minimal direction or supervision
  • Research and analyze the law on complex issues
  • Develop written memoranda and briefs for clients, courts, or arbitrators
  • Analyze and summarize complicated legal documents, including contracts
  • Negotiate with outside parties on contractual issues and legal disputes
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems within the law firm or for clients
  • Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts and agreements
  • Develop ethical solutions to legal matters
  • Build relationships with clients based on trust
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
  • Admission to the Illinois state bar
