Job Overview:
The Departmental Assistant will provide administrative support to the Medical Staff team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with credentialing functions, including onboarding and orientation of residents
- Create letters, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed
- Maintain Outlook calendars for the team, ensuring accurate scheduling and communication
- Order supplies and materials as required
- Support the department leader and team members with administrative tasks and projects
- Answer department phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Reserve conference rooms and arrange meetings as needed
- Process travel requests and reimbursements
- Maintain up-to-date calendars and records
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma required
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of administrative experience preferred
Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products
